Teaching programme: main courses and activities
  • compulsory courses for all students in different fields
  • specific ‘directed readings’ regarding issues which are not covered; by the compulsory courses (to be agreed on with the students)
  • the nomination of a senior tutor who will continuously supervise the candidate during his/her Ph.D. thesis
  • continuous methodological tutorship.
The compulsory courses concentrate on theories, approaches and methods of political science and are distributed over four terms. This programme makes it possible to combine a basic formation also regarding the development of the research project and the individual teaching needs of the Ph.D candidates.
